8 Ways to Celebrate Genshin Impact's Player's Voice Award
The Game Awards have always been one of the most anticipated events for video game enthusiasts. Over the years, the award show has grown in recognition and size. In fact, with each passing iteration of the event, its prize pool has also increased substantially. And this year's edition was no different. Amongst all the game-related categories that were announced last November, there was a special one called Players' Voice Award - a tribute to games that are community-driven and player-focused. This meant that photo's Genshin Impact won!
Genshin Impact did undoubtedly take house the Players' Voice award during this year's edition of The Game Awards, and because of that, the video game's developer, photo, is passing some rewards onto the players themselves. The developer revealed today that it prepared to offer a number of Prisoners to the neighborhood over a couple of days, Prisoners that'd be delivered straight to players' mail boxes without them having to do anything else.
The Prime giveaway was revealed on Twitter and was prepared for after Genshin Impact took home the award. Gen shin Effect gamers get Prisoners for tons of different events and events consisting of upkeep concerns and other small inconveniences, so Prisoners were sort of the minimum expectation after this. Gamers will be getting 800 Prisoners with 200 of them given away every day between December 10th and December 13th, so now, players must start seeing the rewards arriving in their mailboxes.
Regardless, Gen shin Effect was the winner, so now its neighborhood is getting some Prisoners. Look for those in your mailbox starting today on Friday with more of them expected to be offered over the next number of days.
Naturally, the Genshin Impact award made at The Video game Awards was not without debate itself. While the awards provided at the event are voted on by a panel of experts which decides who wins what, the Gamers' Voice award was the exception in that it's the only one that's entirely chosen by what players are voting on. The votes came down to Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers, and the voting procedure got a bit nasty at times. Sonic the Hedgehog fans were convinced there was some batting going on to push the votes in Genshin Impact's favor, and it seems there might've been some reality to that considered that it was said during the awards show that the votes were tallied, and the winner was chosen after the bots were gotten rid of (though it wasn't said which side the bots were voting for).
