On February 6, the independent developer SLOCAP launched Sifu as a self-publishing game, although it had a good stir thanks to the great help of the PlayStation Marketing Team, which clearly reached an agreement with Slocap that involved helping to market the game for the Exclusivity of the console. SIFU already sold more than one million copies and is acclaimed by criticism, and PS plus subscribers thought it was being done free through the subscription service.

Recently, an image was circling showing Sifu on PSN with a PlayStation Plus logo as other free PlayStation Plus games. Naturally, this caused speculation that the game would be free through the subscription service, but according to the SLOCAP developer, this speculation is incorrect.

According to the French study, it was not only the result of a visual error, but it was already solved. How this happened, we do not know. Could the game become free through the Subscription Service in the future? Of course, but at this time, if you believe in SLOCAP, this is not indicative of that.
