The Blades of the Shogun extension will be released in December

Shadow Tactics is an infiltration game mixed with real-time tactics that allows players to stay on their guards throughout their game experience. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun originally released in 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The style of the game reflects that of Desperados and the Commandos series. While the game celebrates its 5th anniversary, the developers Mimimi Productions announced that an autonomous extension, Aiko s Choice, will be released on December 6, 2021. The autonomous extension will continue the history of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, like the trip Assassins continue.

In the extension, the players return to Edo, the former capital of Japan, where they follow Aiko, a follower of Kunoichi, and other assassins while they track the enemies of his past. Aiko is a master of camouflage and uses the geisha to disguise and take over his enemies. Although Aiko tried to leave her past behind her, an old master, Chiyo, is determined to challenge her.

The extension will introduce new features, including three full-fledged missions, new environments to discover for players and three interlude missions. Players can choose between deadly and non-fatal attacks, sneaked in front of their opponents and choose between three difficulties that correspond to their skill level.
