Over the years, many MMORPGs have been set and in a survey we wanted to know what games you wish to return.

It was important that the titles available already have no official server. MMORPGs, which are still running on private servers, were still in the vote.

What shows the result? 1,446 votes were handed out, each participant only had exactly one voice. 17 games we have specified directly and you can also match another and then write a comment. The ranking of places 17 to 6 looks like this:

  • StarQuest Online - 0.07% (1 vote)
  • Worlds Adrift - 0.28% (4 votes)
  • Myth - 0.34% (5 votes)
  • Battlestar Galactica - 0.69% (10 votes)
  • Phantasy Star Online 1 - 0.69% (10 votes)
  • Maplestory 2 - 0.97% (14 votes)

  • Marvel Heroes - 2.49% (36 votes)

In addition, 91 votes (6.29%) were placed on another, which accounts for the third place in the ranking. However, only the game Raiderz was called in the comments that corresponded to the criteria. The others were titles that are no longer greatly expanded, but still run on official servers, such as Guild Wars 1 or Rappelz.

And now we come to the 5 games that you rejoice the most, with places 1 and 2 very dominated.

Rank 5 - Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Setting : Fantasy | Developer : Sigil Games Online / Sony * | * Release date : 30. January 2007 | set : 31. July 2014 | Payment Model : Pay2play and from 2012 Free2Play | Voting result : 3.25% (47 votes)

What was this for a MMORPG? Vanguard: Saga of Heroes wanted to mix thempark and sandbox with each other and has done this even in many places.

The focus of the game was crafting, the various classes and heavy dungeons in which every challenges could find. There was also a Hosuing system for 5,000 accounts per server.

What made it special? Vanguard put on 15 very different classes and really heavy dungeons, in which you might face you with a group of big challenges.

However, some bosses could only be defeated when a special class was present, making all the classes relevant to keeping relevant.

Other features had the MMORPG in crafting. So you could learn about a quest one of three craft classes, which later split in two more. The levels of occupations was not only about collecting materials, but also about quests and orders for NPCs.

What failed it? The MMORPG appeared to release with many gameplay errors, performance problems and bugs. Still in 2007, the first servers were merged so that there were no own role-playing servers.

Vanguard just had no chance against World of Warcraft, which had released only a few days before the release of Vanguard the new extension Burning Crusade.
